These hand poured soy wax tarts come in a package of 6 break apart Tart Melts..
You can use 1 or 2 of the cubes, depending on the size of your tart burner and how strong you would like the scent to be within your home.
Some people burn tarts as an alternative to burning a candle with an open flame. They find the convenience of it, and the safety of it better for their lifestyle. This could include homes with children or pets, where an open flame is not a good option.
A Tart Burner can come in either electric or ceramic, and I will explain them below.
An electric tart burner has a bowl or receptacle on the top (to put the wax in) and then it is plugged into an outlet, and a mini light bulb under the bowl heats up the wax and melts it to release the scent.
A ceramic tart burner has a bowl or receptacle on top, and an opening in the back, where you would put a tea light candle in the enclosed space, and the heat from the flame of the tea light melts the wax to release the scent. The flame from the tea light candle is in an enclosed space at the back, that is usually turned to the wall, once lit, therefore hiding the open flame.
Both of these types of burners can be found at any major retailers, usually in the candle section, and they can be found for under $10.00.
The great thing about my soy wax tarts is that clean-up is a breeze!
Once the wax has burned off all the scent, you would let the wax cool slightly, and then pour the remaining wax into a heat safe container to discard. Then you would wipe out the top of the burner with hot soapy water, and you are ready to put a different scent in your burner! If you want to change scents and your wax is still smelling lovely..... just let it cool slightly, and pour it into a heat safe container for re-use later.
Our soy wax tarts are a very good value,
6 tarts for $5.00!
Yankee Candle sells their tarts for $1.75 each! Even if you used 2 of Kat’s tarts at a time, it is still cheaper to buy our tarts. It all depends how big the bowl of your tart burner is. If you have a small bowl on your burner, you can’t use one of the big tarts or when the wax melts it will overflow over the top and sides of the burner! With soy wax tarts, they are also soft, so you could even choose to use 1 & 1/2 by cutting one in half! There are many options.
We welcome you to try Kat’s Candles Tarts.....
